Your speech will have an introduction, a body, and a conclusion. All three parts are equally important, but the bulk of your talk is taken up by the body of the speech. Many speakers prepare the body first, and then go back to the introduction and conclusion. Prepare your speech in the order that works for you. But don't forget what you learned in the last chapter—always start with a clear purpose as your first step. This doesn't mean you can't change the purpose, but it should be your starting point.
